This Privacy Policy explains how MBSI School (Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy Specialized STEM School, "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the MBSI School mobile application (the "App") and the website mbsischool.uz.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, phone number and/or email address used to sign in, and the student's class or grade.
- School information: schedules, grades, attendance and other educational records provided by the school.
- Device information: device model, operating system version, app version and a push notification token.
- Usage and crash data: anonymous information about how the App is used and technical crash reports, used to improve stability.
We do not collect precise location, contacts or payment card details through the App.
2. How we use information
- To provide the App's features to students, parents and staff.
- To send important notifications about lessons, schedules and school events.
- To keep the App secure and to fix errors.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Third-party services
The App uses Google Firebase (authentication, cloud database, push notifications, analytics and crash reporting) to operate. These services process data on our behalf according to their own privacy policies: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
4. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as the account is active or as required by the school's legal obligations. When an account is deleted, its personal information is removed within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
5. Deleting your account
You can delete your account from within the App (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing info@mbsischool.uz from the address or phone number linked to the account.
6. Children's privacy
The App is used by students of MBSI School, including children. Children's accounts are created by the school with the knowledge and consent of their parents or guardians. We collect only the information needed for educational purposes. Parents may request access to, correction of or deletion of their child's information at any time.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access controls. No method of storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. We process personal data in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data".
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always available at mbsischool.uz/privacy.
